"Pass that watermelon please"

C-bao spent Memorial Day with her old buddies the Liu's down south. As usual, the day included food, fun and lots of time in the sun.

"...more than some pretty face beside a train..."

Excitingly for C-bao, it turns out her friends recently adopted a pet doggie. C-bao is generally an animal lover, and spent a good deal of time hanging out with Scarlet, who bore all the attention with a resigned air.

"How much longer did you say they are here for, master?"

C-bao also tried out a bike for the first time, and after a while, managed to get the hang of it. Despite the training wheels, she had a bit of a nasty fall when the bike started to go downhill and she didn't quite remember how to brake, resulting in an ungraceful exit off the bike. But C-Pop and C-Mum were proud that, after a few minutes of consolation, she got herself back on to try again.

C-bao prefers not to walk if alternatives like hopping, skipping, jumping and swinging exist.

Swing High

Daddy-daugher date at the park on a sunny Saturday. C-bao enjoys the swing at this age much like her sister.

Swing Low

C-bao got so comfortable swinging in the sun over at Alta Plaza park the other day that she dozed off. First time the C-folks have seen that happen, with any kid.

Here is C-bao trying out her swing for the first time. She appears to enjoy it. Though when she's in a good mood these days, she smiles every time C-Mum or C-Pop calls her name, so it's a little hard to tell.
