C-bao had a Daddy-Daughters Date along with C-Pop and K-bao a few weeks ago, and went to see a movie in the theater. The movie was Sing, from the Illumination studio that also produced The Secret Life of Pets, Minions and other hits.

C-Pop had to admit: the movie was pretty good. Good themes, the right mix of humor and sadness, fantastic animation and sensational music. For music lovers out there and particularly fans of singing competition shows like The Voice, this one's a keeper, and not just for the kids.

C-bao and K-bao both loved it. Here is C-bao before the show starts, distracted by a preview.

Affection

On a recent D3 (Daddy-Daughters-Date) down to Superbowl City, C-bao and her sister wanted to demonstrate their affection for their pops.

Either that or some kind of treat was at stake. We will never know.

Beach rides

C-Pop took the little one for a stroll on the beach this weekend. The sun had just burned away the clouds and the sky was a perfect blue when we snapped the pic below.

C-bao enjoyed watching the waves and seagulls, and commented on many a passing dog frolicking by the water (typically on their size and color).

She also made C-Pop do a number of windsprints, while being carried in his arms like royalty. "Faster! Faster!" she hollered, egging on C-Pop much as an equestrian might urge on a steed. It turns out these Daddy-Daughter dates provide quite a bit more exercise than C-Pop might otherwise expect.

Party

C-bao attended the 1st birthday party of her buddy Emily over the weekend, where she gorged on sumptuous Korean delicacies while being loud and rambunctious and drawing all sorts of unnecessary attention.

Here she is agreeing reluctantly to a Daddy-Daughter pic with the birthday gal and her Pops, all the while sporting her patented "Ostrich Tail" hairdo.
