Music Class

One thing C-bao has learned to LOVE is her weekly music class down by the Creativity Museum downtown.

C-Pop got a glimpse over the past weekend when C-bao decided to stop by to check out the Saturday class. While it wasn't her usual weekday routine, and her favorite teacher, "Ms. Mo," wasn't present, she still managed to get a good session out of it - drumming, singing, clapping and throwing colorful handkerchiefs.

While she was at it, she also ran upstairs to show C-Pop the karaoke machine. Along with sister K-bao, she tried out both the Lion King's Be Prepared - which she was totally unprepared to sing - as well as the always popular and entirely overdone Let It Go.

Trick or Treat

C-bao fights the social currents of our times, deciding to dress up as Anna, not Elsa, this Halloween.

Below she stops by C-Pop's office for the first Trick or Treat outing of her young 2-year-old life. At first, she was hesitant, even suspicious, of the gratuitous outpouring of candy. "All these treats for free? Is this a trick?"

"But I thought you said not to take things from strangers, Daddy"

The skepticism did not last long. The pragmatist in C-bao soon took over. Before we knew it, she was taking not one, not two, but three or more pieces of candy from whatever candy jar was in front of her, and transferring them as quick as possible to her little pumpkin bag. Clearly a little capitalist in the making!

Sisters

With a feisty and affectionate older sister to emulate, play with and test her wits against all of her life, little C-bao is one lucky little gal. It has been a joy for the C-folks to see the two little ones grow up together, despite the many - many - challenges of keeping the two civil and well-behaved with each other.
